Jennifer was born in South Western Ontario and raised in the small beach community of Bright's Grove, Ontario.  A small community known for its world class golfing and breathtaking sunsets.  She is mostly self-taught and has also studied visual arts and art history during her high school and undergraduate university studies. Jennifer is currently working on a PhD at Western University with a focus on arts based teaching, learning, and interventions with various neurodegenerative and medical disorders.

As an artist Jennifer largely takes inspiration from the natural world surrounding her and fuses that with her love and passion for French impressionistic and contemporary modern arts.  She is also known to turn off the beaten path and create art using all sorts of mediums, which have ranged from oil and acrylic paintings on natural wood surfaces and other natural elements such as rocks. Her works often involve the use of texture to provide a sculptural-like component.  In addition, Jennifer employees the use of traditional drawing modalities into her art, such as lead, graphite, and ink.

Jennifer has displayed her work across South Western Ontario in various galleries, public areas, and art events.  Her creative ventures have been featured on CBC Arts, Toronto's The Edge, The London Free Press, Sarnia's First Friday Art Events and The London's Annual Visual Fringe.  She has also had images purchased from the London's Art Council and on advertisements throughout South-Western Ontario and acted as the Art Director for Lachie Music Festival that featured numerous large and local Canadian musicians and talents, including the Trailor Park Boys, The Trews, The Headstones, Illscarlet, July Talk, Gob and I Mother Earth (just to name a few). In her spare time she volunteers as the acting Chair for The Arts Collective.  The Arts Collective is a federally registered non-profit operating in London, Ontario that Jennifer co-founded. This organization helps new and emerging artists display their works free of gallery fees or commission.
